In a track that proved to be much tougher than it looked, avoiding mistakes was more than half way to victory. Akouk’s performance was a disaster. Although he achieved some good lap times, fastest lap among them, he had enormous troubles overtaking the AIs and got of track twice.
“You can judge a good day from it’s morning”, say the Greeks and although akouk led the race convincingly for the first 5 laps or so, a steering failure drop him to third: “…that was most unfortunate, i had a good start, but as i turned in to the chicane over the hill the steering wheel went dead, i should change keys…” .
By that time Raska & robylu were battling for second one sec behind, with .it. close by. After akouk’s incident Raska led mostly with robylu challenging strongly. Akouk gained on them a little at a time and was on top again after the pit stops. This time though Raska stick to it and the lead changed many times, until akouk made two clumsy move on the AIs and drop to third for good.
Raska’s race was most clean and robylu’s almost as good. .it. was much improved finishing within three secs behind the winner.

After the 20Km the SE seemed to be turning in favor of akouk, who despite consistency problems managed to stay close in pts to leader Raska and now at the Sprint would have a good chance to strike for SE victory because he run on light handicap.
Three drivers had a fair chance to win here in France, as besides Raska & akouk, also robylu could do it. Everyone was anxious to see how .it. would perform and whether or not would be able to influence the outcome. Akouk needed win+F/L to secure SE victory. A 2nd Raska +F/L would lead in a tie.
.It. showed very strong at the beginning and led the race for half the time, but it seemed that akouk would eventually overcome his resistance. Indeed akouk presented a good self and kept a fast rhythm until the end, taking F/L point as well.
Raska’s handicap restrained him and could not do better than 4th respectively. Robylu & Raska were soon separated from the leading duo and fought for third. Robylu won the battle among the two and the drivers were tied after the sprint with 7 pts each. Second SE place went to Raska because he did faster overall time in the three sessions. It. was very good and the funs loved to see one more good driver joining the club.
