Cars

The ARC series uses a modified version of the WTCC car-pack, originaly published by Fechna. There are 15 cars available of variable characteristics. Car selection is drivers choice. Players must use different car for each track. As you see there are 15 cars and 16 tracks, so one car of your choice may be used twice during the season.

Tracks

The 16 tracks which will host the series are constructed by akouk. All tracks will be available for testing & practicing in advance. Eight of the tracks previously used in VCHS and HARM will be hosts again. Brooklands has a new layout & 4 new cirquits have been added.
The AIs are quite fast and follow a competitive AI-line.

Qualification Procedure

Qualifying for all rounds will be held in advance with Code log-in. This means that all qualifications for all tracks will take place first and after this is accomplished the racing will begin.
The Hot-Lap results will count for a Hot-Lap Cup.

– You don’t have to do all tracks at once. Once you register and receive your log-in data, you can start log-in and submitting official results. There will be a time window of 1 month (until October 5th 05.59) to submit all 16 results.
– Untill October 5th 05.59 CET you may submit any track you like, at any time you like. But you must submit all results by that final date.

– You must do different log-in for each track.
– Each time you must update your name with the new 2-digit code.

How to do qualifications:

– Check you settings : TW: 5 / FC: 5 / FM: 200 / DMG: 30 / DST: 30 Km
– Car selection: Different for each track,  Ghost: Free ,  AI: No AI (Time Trial mode)

– Select the track and reset the best laps. >>Important<< do that, otherwise I may not be able to check your Best Lap and you may get “Back Of Pack” penalty.

– Use your name & password and log-in to the race link which located at the top of the website page. When you succesfully log-in you get a 2-digit code like “38” or “UD” or “J7”.
>>Important<< Add the 2-digit code to your driver’s name like this: “akouk_UD” (or “maclape_38” etc).
You can do that either by creating a new driver, or simply rename the one you already use in the drivers folder.

– Now you’re ready to do your qualification. You can do pit stops many times if you’d like. No shortcutting.
– When you finish: take an F11 screenshot, save the game and  zip/rar your .trk+.gam+.bmp files and sent it to : . You have 18 min to to submit your file without penalty.

Race Procedure

Important: Only drivers who take part in Qualifications will be allowed to compete in the Races.

After the Hot-Lap Cup is accomplished, the racing will begin, based on the Hot-Lap result for each track. Those results will be used as qualification results for the races.
Race will use Files-lo-gin. All players files for all rounds will be available from the beginning. You may submit any race at any time, before each deadline.

– The grid of the race will be arranged according to the Hot Lap result. The AI drive the same cars that corresponding players would drive. Example: If the pole man drives an Alfa, then AI-1 will drive an Alfa too.
You will not be asked to create any starting line-up for your race. I will arrange everything for you. All you have to do is download and install the files.

How to do races:

– Important: For each race you have to use the same car that you used for qualification.
– Check you settings : TW: 5 / FC: 6 / FM: 200 / DMG: 30 / DST: 30 Km,  AI: 5 AI.

– Use your name & password and log-in to the race link. When you successfully log-in you get a “.gam” file and a “.trk” file.
Save those files to the right folders. Launch GR and load the “.gam” file you downloaded.
This “.gam” is the official one that you have to use for the race. Don’t modify it.

– When you finish click F11 to take a screenshot of the results and save your race. Use the original name of the file. Example, when you save, simply overwrite the old file.
Then zip/rar your “.bmp” and “.gam” file and sent it to : . You have 18 min to to submit your file without penalty.

What about akouk’s log-in?

JTarJ (thanks) will assist me by marsalling my log-in.
He has arranged a log-in site for me in his server. So I’ll do my log-in there and sent my files to him for verification.
